Boys Basketball All-Region Recognition


Rio Rico High School's CTE Department actively supports both Coatimundi Middle School and Calabasas K8 by providing engaging opportunities for students. Today, middle school girls had the chance to attend the Girls Power STEAM event in Tucson, where they participated in hands-on activities designed to inspire and educate them in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. February is officially recognized as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, a time to celebrate the value and impact of CTE programs. Rio Rico High School is proud to announce that we have 1,090 students enrolled in 10 programs. Our CTE programs are affiliated with Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), where students actively participate in competitions, leadership training, and community service, enhancing their learning experience.

Congratulations to Coach Taylor Nordgren, his staff and Jessence Octavio-Callejo on qualifying for the AIA wrestling state championship tournament. Jessence will travel to Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 21-22 to compete in the 235 lb. weight class. It's Time to Fly!

THEY'RE IN - Girls Soccer Qualifies for the Postseason
Congratulations to Coach Daniel Rodriguez, his staff and our girls soccer program on qualifying for the postseason. The Hawks will travel to #12 Saguaro High School (Scottsdale) on Thursday for a 6:00 p.m. start. A win will punch a ticket to the field of 16 in the 4A conference state championship tournament. Time to Fly!
