The Coatimundi Middle School (CtMS) Middle Level FBLA Chapter experienced an exhilarating and productive day of leadership development during the CTSO Advisor & Officer Retreat on Friday, September 4, 2026, held at the Rio Rico High School PAC Auditorium.
Led by Curt Bertelsen from Pima County JTED, the retreat offered students and advisors valuable strategies and tools to enhance their CTSO chapters while fostering effective student leadership.
Our students had the chance to learn, collaborate, and acquire the necessary skills to become confident, responsible, and effective FBLA leaders.
Throughout the day, our FBLA officers focused on:

Understanding Officer Roles and Responsibilities
Developing and Implementing a Program of Work towards Chapter Recognition
Creating Engaging and Enjoyable Chapter Meeting Agendas
Learning the Basics of Parliamentary Procedure
Crafting a Chapter Constitution and Bylaws
Developing Confident Communication Skills
We eagerly anticipate how they will apply their newfound knowledge to positively influence the CtMS Middle Level FBLA Chapter during the 2026–2027 school year!
