🌟 Rotary Student of the Month: Julietta Morgan Romero
Each of these honorees represents the qualities we value at Coatimundi Middle School and across Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35: dedication, kindness, leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to helping others succeed.
Mr. Jose Bernal was recognized for more than 40 years of teaching and his continued passion for his students, science, and FFA. His dedication to meaningful learning, mentorship, and preparing students for their futures reflects the lasting impact an educator can have on students and their communities.
Ms. Victoria Betancourt, Alternative Professional, was recognized for her positive attitude, compassion, teamwork, and willingness to step in whenever support is needed. Her initiative and dedication help create a school environment where students and staff feel valued and supported.
Julietta Morgan Romero was recognized for being an exceptional student and positive role model for her peers. Her kindness, respect, responsibility, perseverance, and commitment to doing her best reflect the character of an outstanding Cavalier.
We are proud to have Mr. Bernal, Ms. Betancourt, and Julietta representing Coatimundi Middle School and Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35 through their everyday contributions to our school community.

Coatimundi Middle School student Abigail Kuhm recently had the opportunity to showcase her vocal talents by singing the National Anthem at a town hall hosted by U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego.
Abigail represented her school and community with confidence and poise as she performed for those in attendance. We are proud to recognize Abigail for sharing her talent and representing Coatimundi Middle School at this community event!
