Here in the CTMS Art studio, the emphasis is placed on an understanding of the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design as a basis for artistic composition and creation.

Our young artists are encouraged to continually strengthen and develop their own artistic talents and skills. Additionally designed, our students build on their academic vocabulary of art terms, mediums in use, and are exposed to professional skill-based art techniques. Likewise, they continue to build on their own understanding of art in culture, society, and history from our community to the world. Hence, throughout our independent and group work challenges, our CTMS students are actively engaged, challenged, and encouraged for success in the creative art process.
