As a parent/guardian, you have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child's teacher(s). As a parent/guardian, you have the right to request information regarding any state or district policy regarding student participation in any assessment mandated by the state or district.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Every year the Arizona Department of Education and the Arizona State Board of Education expects that all students participate in state assessments. Their expectation remains the same this year.  Therefore, all SCV35 school sites will administer state assessments and will follow CDC and county Health Department guidelines to ensure the safety of all staff and students.  Protocols include temperature checks, physically distancing students, minimizing the number of students in each location, and requiring masks during the testing.  If you have any questions concerning the protocols during state testing, please contact our office at (520)375-8300

 

21st Century Community Learning Centers grant for SCVUSD No.35 schools

Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35 (Rio Rico, AZ) hereby formally notifies the local community of our intention to apply to the Arizona Department of Education for a 21st Century Community Learning Centers – Cycle 17 program grant for the following schools: San Cayetano Elementary, Coatimundi Middle School, Calabasas K-8 School, and Rio Rico High School . Our application is due to the Arizona Depart of Education by March 8, 2021. We also take this opportunity to inform private schools, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, and other public agencies of our intent to provide safe, accessible academic and enrichment programs before-school and after-school during the 2021-2022 regular school year, as well as 2021-2022 summer school.
